WEST FOR MICROSOFT TEAMS DIRECT ROUTING PHONE SYSTEM
West’s Direct Routing integrates third-party SBCs and Teams capabilities to integrate with your on-premises PSTN Connectivity and/or current PBX estate. The SBCs are deployed within your existing infrastructure to be close to the existing PSTN connectivity and current phone system, which can include customer hosted data centres.
- Direct Routing enables Teams to make/receive calls to/from their existing PSTN connectivity (SIP Trunk, ISDN30 etc.), via Microsoft Calling Plans or a combination of the two. This allows organisations to honour existing PSTN connectivity contracts and/or receive cheaper PSTN billing.*
- A seamless migration between Teams and the legacy PBX estate, analogue endpoints and Contact Centre solutions, while maintaining functionality and user habits across all solutions.
- The PBX estate can be decommissioned along with any unwanted legacy PSTN circuits, once the migration from the legacy PBX to Teams is complete,. This provides an opportunity to consolidate PSTN connectivity and port to SIP trunking.
- West’s Contact Centre and/or Call Recording solutions can be fully integrated into Teams, with West SIP trunks for call terminations.**
