Magnetic North is Now a Part of West
On November 2, 2015, West Corporation announced the acquisition of Magnetic North, Ltd., a leading U.K.-based provider of proprietary cloud-based customer contact center and unified communications solutions to enterprises.
Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Leicester, England, Magnetic North provides complete inbound, outbound, and fully blended multichannel customer engagement technology solutions to clients throughout EMEA and the Americas.
West and Magnetic North both share a deep commitment to offering world class cloud communications platforms, with West a leader in the 2015 Gartner UCaaS Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) for four consecutive years and Magnetic North earning spots in the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contact Center as a Service (Western Europe) as well as in the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Customer Engagement Workforce Optimization.
West Unified Communications Services segment will utilize the technology that Magnetic North has developed to provide clients with the capability to deliver seamless and contextual multichannel consumer experiences. Magnetic North’s cloud contact center and PCI compliant cloud call recording solutions (now known as West Cloud Contact Pro and West Cloud Call Recording, respectively) have already been added to the existing portfolio of contact center services and are now available through your West account managers.
